WHO ARE WE?
We are a local pair of lads that were disappointed to find out the City Council had removed all meals on wheels services without putting any real provision in place. We spent a long time talking about how awful it was and that someone should do something. How will all these elderly and infirm people survive if they have no family? Not to mention how indebted we are to most of them. In the end, we decided we should do it. We decided to be the change we wanted to see in the world. So after 3 months of testing food, agreeing suppliers, jumping through all the red tape, we are ready to serve the city. We do this as our way of giving something back. With margins of £1 per meal delivered we are never going to make a fortune, hopefully just enough to cover fuel and the drivers time. Otherwise everything else will go back into the business. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Not a lot at all! We know it can get very frustrating with all these automated phone systems and complicated things on internet.So we have kept it easy in 4 simple steps:
1. Give us a call, arrange a time that is convenient for you.
2. We will pop over drop you a menu and listen to what you feel you need.
3. You choose which meal you would like try for free*
4. If you’re happy with the food, service and price, call us the day before with your order.
*PLEASE NOTE: To qualify for a free meal you must provide evidence from Social Services that you receive an allowance towards meals.
ROCKET MEALS MENU
Our meals are prepared fresh each day and plated up, wrapped in cling film and delivered to your door for as little as £6.
We also offer fresh Indian Thali’s that containt curries, 1 rice, daar, 4 roti’s and something sweet.
